My story
Regina Lowe
I'm passionate about helping people transform, grow, and reach for their fullest potential. Through my own personal journey, I have realized the power of doing the deep work of healing, overcoming trauma, and pursuing the path meant for me. And I strive to help others do the same. I believe this is the key to our success and a transformation of our world.
As a trauma-informed coach, I define trauma as a set of events or circumstances that has a long-term negative impact on our emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being. It may make us feel like we can never achieve the level of personal thriving or professional success that we want.
These events can stem from childhood, relationships, work or even church. They may also come from pervasive racism and sexism we have experienced or just witnessed. We may not have directly experienced these events. But we have heard about them happening to older generations and people who look like us.
Because of this, we may have unconsciously learned trauma-based mindsets, habits, and ways of coping from others that are based out of fear and self-hatred. Without addressing these events and experiences, their long-term effects will negatively affect us. Although we may not realize it, or have learned to mask it.
